ENTERPRISES-Licensing
Source
Interlink Media's Enterprises Division is the company's worldwide
licensing, television, radio, wireless and new business division. The
division covers everything from consumer products to service licensing
to content syndication to international licensing and publishing. Consumer Products
The company has 600+
branded products at retail currently and this number is growing
every day. The licensed categories include apparel, accessories,
footwear, auto accessories, lighting, books, tools, cellular and mp3
accessories, calendars, toys and even video games... We are always
looking at new and innovative products with premier partners in the
industry! Approved Programs
Our Approved
licensing program gives products the "seal" of approval from our
experts on your products. This allows you to reach our enthusiast
audience plus all of the consumers who know and trust our brands as
experts in the category. Products must meet the claims and standards
and get the approval of our magazine staff, engineers and researchers,
so that the consumer is never disappointed! An example of the
"Approved" program is "MOTOR TREND® Approved Mr. Clean Auto Dry Series"
with Procter & Gamble. Official Product Programs
Our Official Product licensing programs are tested and used by the
magazines, events or television staff. An example of the Official
Product program is the "MOTOR TREND® Official Fuel" with Texaco. MOTOR
TREND® approves and uses the fuel in all of its test cars. Service Licensing
Our Service
licensing programs allows consumers to have interaction with leading
providers of services with the added trust our brands inspire. An
example of our Service licensing is UTI - Universal Technical
Institute, the leading provider of technical education, and the "HOT
ROD® U" program which provides specifically designed curriculum created
for repairing domestic performance vehicles. International Licensing and Content Syndication We currently have 13 international licensed magazine editions and also do content syndication internationaly. Countries include: Mexico, China, Japan and South America. Some of the titles include: MOTOR TREND® en Espanol; LOWRIDER® in Japan, SLAM® in China, and European Car® in Taiwan.
Our licensed content opportunities allow our experts to "speak" in various formats for print and web. Examples of our licensed content include programs with "Yahoo en Espanol", Mochila, Ebsco, "The New York Times" and Wrights Reprints. Promotions
Promotions can be across
multiple media platforms and across multiple groups and brands. For
example, with the TimberWolf Promotion done in 2007, 6 Classic Cars
were transformed by HOT ROD® , STREET RODDER® , MOPAR MUSCLE™, MUSTANG
MONTHLY™ , CORVETTE FEVER™ and CAR CRAFT™. At retailers across the
country consumers found a code under the lid of every Timber Wolf can.
They were able to enter that code at a Timberwolf web site,
pick a car, and estimate how much they thought it would be worth once
the transformation was complete. For a better estimate of its value,
they were able to watch web videos of each car's transformation and
read editorials in each of the magazines. If they were the first person
whose bid was on the money, the car was theirs at the end of the
promotion. Wireless
Wireless products include:
SMS/MMS alerts, WAP sites, Mobile Video and Branded Applications for
LOWRIDER®, SOAP OPERA DIGEST®, MOTOR TREND®, and the Action Sports
Groups. This area is one of the fastest growing in the country and
